ORIE 6326: Exams

The class will have one final exam. It will be held on Wednesday 5-17-16 from 2pm – 5pm in Olin Hall room 165. Students may bring one (standard 8.5x11 in, with writing on either or both sides) sheet of notes to the exam.

The exam will cover course material through the last lecture, and may be drawn either from the lectures or from the assigned readings.

Questions may include of any of the following types:

• Questions from the homework

• Questions similar in style to questions from the homework

• Multiple choice questions (eg, “Which of the following functions are convex?”)

• Short answer questions (eg, “Which algorithm would you use to solve this problem? Justify your answer.”)
