Biography

I am a Ph.D. student in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University, working with Professor Shane Henderson. Prior to coming to Cornell, I received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh. During my time at the University of Pittsburgh I also completed three co-op rotations at Heinz North America working in supply chain logistics.

Research Interests

In general, I am interested in decision-making under uncertainty. My current research deals with large-scale simulation optimization with a focus on how ranking and selection can be applied after search and in parallel computing environments. My past research has included work on correlated multi-armed bandits and optimal search. Two of my side interests are baseball analytics and chess.
