Assessment

Student reviews have been mixed. The cyclic schedules can get complicated and the schedules can get tangled up. The file readme.txt suggests a procedure to avoid tangled schedules. A two hour lab is probably too short to fully explore this tool.

On the other hand, students are impressed with the power of the CGANTT software and wished they had a greater opportunity to use it: the lab exercise was too short and the software was not an integral part of the Llenroc Plastics design exercise.

CGANTT has been used successfully as an integrated part of a major design exercise: The Manufacturing System Development Game.
